About the Store & Neighborhood
Get a taste of both design and technology in the vibrant SoMa neighborhood. Originally a warehouse that dates back to the 1950s, Room & Board San Francisco is a modern furniture store that was restored into a bright, beautiful furniture shopping experience. The building is powered by solar energy and features landscaping designed by local landscape architect Andrea Cochran. Our team of Design Associates can help you find modern, mid-century furniture and home decor for your house, apartment or condo, and is especially skilled at room layouts for small San Francisco spaces. Check out the dedicated small space department for the furniture ideas and solutions designed to fit in small square footage.
